Jestr’s first product, Light Wave, began as a tool designed by professional cinematographers to use in their own work on film sets. The biggest advantage is that it frees the cinematographer and director to be creative with the lights without thinking about dimmer values or channel numbers, etc. Instead of having to communicate to a technician about a change to a specific light, the creative wearing a headset can turn toward that light and make the change with a simple hand gesture, and make fine adjustments with the same hand gesture.
